Saying that when he heard that Schloesser's article would be published in the journal Nature e arte he was very ill and had to leave London for many weeks, and that when he returned he had the misfortune to loose someone dear to him, that he is better now and is eager that the article be published, adding that he will send the book where the better pictures are reproduced, etc.
